John Lewis’ Moz the Monster

In 2017, John Lewis introduced the world to Moz the Monster - and I was part of the team tasked with bringing him to life online, instore and with Facebook AR.

In a pioneering WebGL experience, shoppers made their own friendly monster to play and fart with. Using a single rig and an innovative fur system, the experience was optimised for mobile so that monsters could travel anywhere.

It was the biggest secret I’ve ever had to keep.
